We are a family business led by licensed builder Sam McArdle who has more than 20 years’ experience in the building and construction industry. We are passionate about energy efficient home design. We work with a team of professional staff and sub-contractors, and take a personal and flexible approach to each building project.

McArdle Projects is a member of the Housing Industry Association (HIA), and Sam is an accredited HIA GreenSmart Professional. HIA is Australia’s peak residential building, renovation and development industry association, upholding the highest standards of professional and commercial conduct. HIA GreenSmart accreditation represents a commitment to environmental building skills for more sustainable residential design and construction.

We can manage your project from start to finish, offering a complete range of services including building design, planning and construction. With a limited number of jobs each year, we closely oversee and manage every stage of your project, maintaining open and regular communication.

We are based at Mallala and most of our work is in the Adelaide Plains, Barossa, Gawler, Adelaide Hills, Adelaide city, Yorke Peninsula and Mid North of South Australia, but we can also travel further.
